We will be having a Thanksgiving party on Friday, November 22.  Each student will need to bring in $3.00 by Wednesday, November 20 to cover the cost of food and drinks.

Please mark your calendars for the Christmas Play!  It will be Thursday, December 5. Each student needs a long sleeve black shirt, long black pants, and black socks with their name on them.  Please send these items in a plastic bag as soon as possible. Please make sure these pieces of clothing have no other colors on them.

Please remember, students can earn up to 5 bonus points for extra credit on their Spelling Test just by writing their words correctly each night and returning them to me with a parent's signature.

We have been working on expression while reading and pausing after a punctuation mark.  Please encourage your children to work on these two things while doing their Reading homework. 

Please don't forget about the Spelling Bonus.  The students may receive up to five points on their test each week just by writing their words correctly each school night before the test and turning them in with a parent signature.

NLCA would like to support Lisa Smith, a missionary who lives in Nicaragua. If your family would like to help spread God's word in Nicaragua, fill up the M&M container that we sent home with quarters ($12.00) and return it back to school!
