Please continue to practice Genesis 1:1-5 with your children this week as well as our new verse Psalm 139:14.  We will be saying all of this scripture for Grandparents Day!

Grandparents Day will be on Friday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m. Students are dismissed to go home afterwards!

Please make sure that an adult signs Spelling words that are for bonus points after checking over them with your child. 

I am moving Bible tests to Fridays.  Our next Bible test will be on Friday, September 20 for Genesis 1:3-4.

DEAR day is Tuesday, September 10. The theme is Mountaineer Day. The students may bring a few books from home to read for 30 minutes.

Picture day is Wednesday, September 11.

Blocks will count as 5 minutes now instead of 2 minutes.

Second grade students are having trouble with playing with items during class.  If I take something from a child at their desk, they may not have it back until the end of the school year unless a parent or guardian comes to get it. 

Please encourage your child to practice math facts at home as well as reading books.

Laiken will be our first student of the week!
