IT'S BECAUSE OF WINN DIXIE WEEK!!!

We are loving this book! For Reading this week, we will be working on Because of Winn Dixie.  We will be visiting the public library on Wednesday, January 30, for a small field trip.  I will send a field trip paper home on Monday.

Thursday-Phonics (Language)

Friday-Bible, Psalm 1:1-6

Next week is Homecoming Week, Feb. 4-8! We will be competing with other classes for a trip to La Carreta for lunch! We earn points by showing school spirit! Please encourage your children to participate.

I will give extra tickets to all students who can say this verse by Friday, February, 1.

We will have to say this verse super loud when the spirit stick comes around. Suit up and be prepared!

Welcome Back!

Our second nine weeks session ends on

We are getting ready for Third Grade

We will have our Christmas party on Tuesday, December 18, at 1:30.  All students need to bring a $10.00 ART gift in that could be for a boy or girl. The gift is due on Monday, December17.  If this is a problem, please let me know.  I can help out!  We will do a fun exchange at our party.

 

We need small bottles of water or juice boxes for our party.  If you would like to donate, let me know.

Christmas Break is from Wednesday, December 19 - Wednesday, January 2! School will start back on Thursday, January 4.
