No School Monday, September 3!  Enjoy!

Please join us for a PTF (Parent and Teacher Fellowship) meeting right after school on Tuesday, September 4. This is a great opportunity for parents and teachers to combine ideas for fundraising and ideas for a great school year! We would love for you to join us!

Our school Literature Fair is on Tuesday, September 25. It is not required for Second Graders to do the Literature Fair, but it is great practice.  We will be doing a class project, but if your child is welcome to do a project on their own. Let me know, and I will send the information home for you.

Grandparent's Day will be on Friday, September 28! More details will come later!

We are winding down, but this last full week is still very important.  We will be taking Achievement Tests on Monday, May 7- Wednesday, May 9, first thing in the morning.  Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest, eats breakfast, and arrives at school on time.  Some parents are donating snacks for our class during the testing hours.

We are making homemade pizzas Friday, May 11.  We will be having a pizza party for lunch that day.  If you would like to donate to the cost of the ingredients, you may send that money in Monday or Tuesday!

Awards Day for First through Eleventh grades will be on Friday, May 11, at 1:00 p.m.  You are welcome to attend, but you do not have to. I will gladly sit with any of my students if their parents cannot attend!

Thank you all for a wonderful school year!  Please encourage your children to do their best next week on the Achievement Tests.  I have plenty of pencils and erasers for everyone. The tests are long and difficult at times, but I am sure they will do great!  Thank you for your cooperation!  Have a great weekend!
