3/3-3/7

  • Progress Reports went home on Friday, February 28. Please sign and return them by Monday, March 3.
  • Snow packets were sent home on Friday in case of snow days.  If the homework is not completed and returned the next day of school, the student will have to complete the work during recess.
  • Yearbook orders are due on Monday, March 3. 
  • Spring pictures and Sports pictures are on Tuesday, March 3.
  • Just a reminder, students can earn up to 5 bonus points for extra credit on their Spelling Test just by writing their words correctly each night and returning them to me with a parent's signature.

2/17-2/21

We will be having our Valentine's Party the next day that we are in school at 2:15! Please join us if you can!

Our Bible test will be the next day that we are in school on I John 4:9, and we will be having our Bible test on I John 4:10-11 on Friday, February 21.

Please remind the students to do their Snow Packets!  They will receive credit for doing this work!

2/10-2/14

  • DEAR Day is Tuesday, February 11.  The theme is twin/triplet day.
  • Our class will be singing at chapel on Thursday, February 13. Please come and listen!
  • Our Valentine's Party will be Friday, February 14 at 2:15 p.m. Please send in $2.00 to cover the cost of the party by Wednesday, February 12. You are welcome to join us if you can.  If students would like to bring in a decorated box to receive their valentines in that is great, if not I will give them a bag to put valentines in. Here is a list of student names: Jude, Ethan, Mackenzie, Aaron, Grant, Destiny, William, Jacey, Bryar, Elizabeth, Fox, Abigail, Laiken

2/3-2/7


  • The students have a take home math test and speed drill due on Monday, February 2. It is in the homework side of their take home folder.
  • I will be sending a homework packet home on Monday, February 3 in case of snow days.  These assignments will be for a grade.
  • As a reminder, I sent a note home about homework a couple of weeks ago.  It was supposed to be signed and returned.  Please remember to send those back if you have not done so.  If you need an extra copy, send me a note, and I will get it to you.
  • Students can earn up to 5 bonus points for extra credit on their Spelling Test just by writing their words correctly each night and returning them to me with a parent's signature.
  • Please encourage students to read at least 15 minutes every evening. 
  • We will not have another Spelling Test until Wednesday, February 12. I sent the list home Friday, January 31.

1/27-1/31

We will not be having a Bible verse test on Psalm 1:3-6.  Please continue reviewing these verses with the students, because we will be doing some activities with these verses that will be counted as their test!

Please continue to work on counting coins and going over addition and subtraction math facts.

We will have our Spelling test on List 17 on Wednesday, January 29!

If I receive a note on Wednesday, January 22, signed by a parent that you have read the blog, your child will receive 5 bonus points on their Arithmetic or Phonics test this week.

No school Monday, January 20!
