Last month of school!!!  I can not believe that it is the end of the year!!! 

The students did an excellent job on Wednesday at chapel!!  I am so blessed by this group of children!!

We will be going to the Summersville Public Library.  Students must turn in their permission slip to be able to go on the trip.

Students will have a letter about our class field trip in their folders.  These are due back by Friday, May 13.

We will be having Pastries for Parents on Monday, May 16.  If you have not returned your note, please do so soon.

Achievement tests will be on Tuesday, May 17 - Thursday, May 19.

4/25-4/29

Second grade will be doing a play for chapel on Wednesday, April 27.  We are so excited and would love for you to join us!!  

Chapel starts at 8:10. 

We are  going to the Public Library on Thursday, May 5.

4/18-4/22

We will be going to the circus on Friday, April 22, so I am moving our Bible Test to Thursday, April 21.  

We will be having "Show and Tell" on Thursday, April 21. Each student may bring one thing to share with the class. This item must be small enough to fit in their book bags.

4/11-4/15

Each student will need to bring in one 4x6 baby picture (from birth to 3 years old) by Monday, April 11.  Please do not send an original picture.  I would hate for something to accidentally happen to a picture that you do not have a copy of.  Please talk to your child about a story when they were a baby that they could write about. This could be anything from a special time to something funny that they did.  Their story needs to be from 5-8 sentences.  They will be writing it in class.  They just need to be able to recall the details so that they can write and tell about it in their own words.

Welcome Back!
