Grandparent's Day was a success!! The kids did a fantastic job!! I am so proud of all of them!!
There will be no Bible or Spelling Test this week. New verses and Spelling words will go home on Wednesday, September 30.

9/21-9/25
Payton will be our Student of the Week!
Don't forget: Pictures of grandparents and students are due on Monday, September 21. I would like to have a picture of each set of grandparents that will be attending Grandparents Day.
We will be working on crafts for our grandparents all week. Please make sure the children do not wear brand new clothes this week (Monday-Thursday).
Grandparent's Day is Friday, September 25. All students will be dismissed to leave with their grandparents after lunch.
Picture retakes will be Tuesday, September 29.
A copy of the Grandparents poem that we are reciting for Grandparents Day was sent home on Friday, September 18. Please make sure the children are practicing this at home.

Our school Literature Fair will be Friday, October 2. We are doing a class project and will work on it during school.
If you would like to donate to our classroom, we would love to have individual containers of playdoh. We have 11 students. We also need items for our treasure box. Please make sure the items for the treasure box do not cost more than $1.00!

Sami will be our first Student of the Week!!
Grandparent's Day is Friday, September 25. Please send the letter that was sent home back in so we know how many people to expect.
Tests for the Week:
Wednesday: Math and Spelling
Thursday: Phonics
Friday: Bible
*We will be starting Oral Reading Tests soon.
Don't forget students can write Spelling words for Bonus points, however, the words must be spelled correctly and signed by a parent to be counted. Student need to make corrections so that they practice it correctly for the test.
Bring a signed note in, Monday, September 14, that you read the blog for 2 extra tickets.
